About the event

Rokin 9 (pleintje voor Scheltema) COME and PROTEST With a - clothing swap (bring clothes) - speeches - music - secret act - PROTEST!!

Zara and Bershka sell low quality clothing, but you buy something new every month anyway so who cares if it breaks? We care! We want cool clothing too but we don’t want to make people work for low incomes, long days in horrible conditions + breaking the environment that sustains us all by polluting chemicals that are used in this industry!!

INDITEX: Your business model is breaking the earth Your business model is breaking your own clothes so we have to buy new clothes. Your business model is violating human rights Your business model hurts women Your business model is only good for one family’s wealth: the Ortega’s

Do you want to be more involved and help us organise this action? you are welcome to contact us: @Julie 0623045288 @Rots 0644481659

Inditex is the parent company of Zara, Bershka, Stradivarius, Pull & Bear and Mango. The founder of Inditex, Armancio Ortega, has a net worth of $84,3 billion, making him the wealthiest clothing retailer and the third richest person in the world.

INDITEX we want you to:

Stop violating human rights Stop making clothes that break Pay your workers a fair wage Be transparent about who makes the clothes for what price. Be transparent about sustainability Not Greenwash Make fewer clothes/ Stop making clothes

Ensure your workers can make labor unions

Clean up the landfills full of fast fashion so they stop polluting their surroundings with your nylon wear & dyes.
